Here comes the big question, how to pass Career Service Examination?

Well, I'll just be speaking on how I did passed the Professional Career Service Examination, for it to be a testament that what I did was effective.

Anyways, let me get into it. I took the exam twice but failed, its a long story, let me just say that in my first take, I was prepared physically but not mentally, the second, I was prepared mentally but not physically. Now you have a whole picture on what happened in my third try. Savvy? :)

I'd like to call this Yoh's three (3) steps.

First, Know yourself. What you can do, what you're good at, what you're worst at. This is I guess what they call Self Inventory.
Second, Accept the result of your Self Inventory. Simple as that, don't be discourage or ashamed if you find yourself bad in Math or English, or anything. It is in acceptance that you'll have the courage to work on yourself.
Third, Start with what you have, know what available resources you have, don't ask or wish for anything you can't have for the moment. Work with it, and grow it. But of course, if you have resources, you'll have liabilities. deal with it! :)

Application of yoh's three (3) steps to me.

First, I'm not good at Arithmetic and Vocabulary, a little above average on statistics & graphical analyzation, Physically, I'm in good shape. :)

Second, Of course, I accepted the first facts, so I said, I'll give it a time to work on those area that I'm not good at. It kinda give me a perspective of what I should do.

Third, The best resources that I had is, I had ME. :) kidding. Seriously, the best resources that I had for this exam is internet, a 5" android smartphone, time of course, and a little money. On the liability side, I got bills of course and the need to provide for my parent with their daily needs.

I started working with those steps or facts. I used the internet to research on arithmetic & vocabulary for career service exam using my 5" android smartphone. I did find a good material, its entitled Arco Civil Service Arithmetic and Vocabulary 15th Edition by Thomson & Peterson, you can search the internet for that material or you can just post your email on the comment below and I'll send you a copy of it for free. The material is 360 pages, focusing on Arithmetic & Vocabulary, it has also Test-Taking Techniques that is very helpful,

Here's a screenshot of the material on my smartphone.

I give it a time to read and practice what's on the material, the only hard part is that I need to earn to sustain my daily needs and support my parents. So I need to be doing a little bit of everything when it comes to my field. :).. Anyways, too much of what I've been through, this is about me giving you a hint how you might do it your way, not about I've been through..

During the exam, I:
  1. was Physically & Mentally ready;
  2. had two pencils & one pencil sharpener
  3. had in my pocket 10 pcs of max candy. No kidding, it helps me from being hungry.
To give you a little motivation here's a picture of my Certificate of Eligibility.

by the way, here's a little secret. I'm a devote of Sto. Niňo de Cebu. After all, everything that we do is for God's glory.

NBA Finals 2016 Championship

It all comes down to this moment.

Cleveland Cavaliers is the 2016 NBA Champions

Cleveland Cavaliers made history today,
  • First NBA Championship in 52 yrs.
  • Third Team to force game 7 in 50 yrs.
  • First Team to win Championship after being down 3-1 in the series.
  • the rest, I don't know. hehehe
As a Basketball fan, this is by far the best game in NBA Finals I've ever watched. Game 7 it is!
I watch game 1, but seeing Lebron doing too much isolation's and Golden State Warriors having the best passing game, I lost interest watching game 2 to 6, I just settle watching the highlights of game 2-6.

for game 7, there is two big plays that I love in the final quarter.
  • Lebron's chase down block on Igudala

  • Irving's 3 point shot on Curry's defense

The Score:

Stats of the game:

Cleveland Cavaliers:

Golden State Warriors:
